Engineered Systems Magazine Features Article Expounding the Benefits of Modular Chiller Plants (MCP) Using an Envirosep Built MCP

February 07, 2020

An Envirosep Modular Chiller Plant was recently featured in the article “Stacking a Centrifugal Chiller Plant at VCU’s Siegel Center” in the January 2020, Vol. 37 No. 1 issue of Engineered Systems magazine. The article, written by the consulting engineers at WSP for the project, discusses the benefits of using a modular chiller plant.  The installation had many engineering challenges, including keeping disruption on the campus to a minimum, fitting the new central plant in a very tight space, and mounting it over an existing loading dock in the back of the facility. The near flawless design integrated into the centuries old campus without compromising the beautiful campus architecture.

Envirosep was very proud to be part of the team with Johnson Controls  (JCI), WSP, and many others. To read the full article, please click here.
