Our History
Founded in 1996, Envirosep began with the initial business concept focused on engineering and manufacturing wastewater reuse equipment. In fact, the name Envirosep stands for “Environmental Separations” and originates from that early business plan which involved a separation process of industrial wastewater discharge from textile companies. However, with the downturn of the American textile industry, Envirosep shifted our engineering and manufacturing focus to integrated fluid handling and heat transfer equipment for commercial and industrial applications. In 1998, Envirosep was incorporated as Tilley Technologies, Inc.
From the onset, we listened to our clients’ needs by designing custom fluid handling and heat transfer systems from scratch depending on the project requirements of our clients. As our clientele from pharma and biotech to commercial HVAC and Industrial processing grew, we planted roots in Georgetown, South Carolina. In 2002, Envirosep constructed a manufacturing facility and engineering office. With continued company growth, Envirosep has expanded our manufacturing footprint twice in ten years.
In 2012, we completed our first expansion by adding to our manufacturing footprint a total of approximately 80,000 sq. ft. and crane capacity of 60 tons per bay. As our Georgetown facility extends over 20 acres, we again expanded in 2022 with a 100,000 sq. ft., 4-story manufacturing building addition that includes 80 tons of individual lifting capacity at a hook height of greater than 50 ft. With three manufacturing buildings, an ASME fabrication shop and a UL 508A control panel shop, Envirosep continues to expand our engineering and manufacturing capabilities while we continue to explore new market possibilities.
